This is accurate, you can't wake others yourself.

I'm lucky, in a way, that I had my awakening as a child. Those in power, those around me and government, either hurt me, lied to me or did nothing to protect me or all three. I realised very early that I was on my own, if I wanted anything, including safety, I had to provide that for myself, I became a prepper and survivalist before I knew what those things were.

So I've had many years to try and wake people up, unsuccessfully.

Even my wife called Jack from The Survival Podcast, "that crazy guy", until we had a 3 day blackout in summer and she feared she couldn't cool our kids (we could as I had a battery bank and inverter). But that scared her into buying a generator and storing food.

My friends also could not be convinced, but, overtime, have found their own ways. Now they are getting firearms licences and trying to buy rural property.

Live by example, live well, build and others will see that and start to think for themselves, if they are ready.
