#[0] #[1] #[2] you could still be as restrictive as you wanted to for registering accounts on your own instance. anti-spam needs to be good enough to take care of the low hanging fruit pretty much as a prerequisite, otherwise you just get the nostr nonsense happening. so at that point it's pretty similar to right now. you're left with dedicated pedo instances (just defederate) and tricky cases like pawoo with not quite sufficient moderation
or go whitelist mode and give a contact method for people who want to be added. I dunno
