If there is a soft fork in #bitcoin and transactions are made, then miners will mine the blocks, and nodes will verify. The longest timechain continues.

If someone else comes along with another soft fork, but their soft fork doesn’t include the newest upgrades, then that is actually a hard fork.

Unlike the blocksize wars, it’s possible this hard fork could pump very quickly. BlackRock has already said if the chain splits, they may not choose the "real Bitcoin".

I’m worried we might be put to this test soon, and our desire for fiat will battle against our love of freedom.

Alright, Nostr builders, I have a brilliant business idea for mass adoption. It's something so revolutionary that even the most innovative big tech companies have never attempted.

Nostr? Oh, it's amazing but incredibly complex, you know, something only a few hundred IQ points could comprehend - like understanding the secrets of the universe. Teaching NSEC best practices to young, tech-savvy gamers, for example, is like trying to explain the intricacies of time travel to a toddler.

So, clearly, what we ought to do is create an app to custody their Sats and NSEC keys for 'free.' They can sign in with their favorite big tech accounts or create a new account with an email and shower us with data like confetti at a parade. In return, we'll benevolently assume the role of data overlords because privacy is sooo last century.

And why even bring up Nostr on the app? It's not like it's the heart and soul of everything we're doing! Utter genius, am I right? Plus, let's not forget, we'll spare users from the heavy burden of knowledge and responsibility because clearly, they can't handle it.
