Things can just run themselves because the protocol supports so much more than previously possible.
Example: for payouts in #[3] i was able to make it automatically pay the user because they have a lightning address in their profile. If they don't or it fails I can automatically dm them a support ticket. This was super easy to add because of how simple nostr is.
I think a lot is going to be autonomous that wasn't possible previously.

Made a nostr price is right style lottery. Every day it'll make a note that you can zap. The closest to the random number, but not over will win everyone else's zaps.

Nostr is great because I'm building a project that everyone can use and I dont need a front end, it'll all be done through interacting with the notes through which ever client the user decides
Using for things like creating coinjoins and pay joins is the obvious ones, we have some other secret ideas
We made a nostr based wait list, have lots of other ideas to use nostr to enhance bitcoin privacy.
