You're correct the 1966 Lotus Europa had a similar profile to the R380, just as the aforementioned Porsche 906 above in the post. It was a style at the time in terms of aerodynamics. Will include some comparison pics below of other race cars from the same time period and you can see see how similar in design they are to the Prince.

1966 Prince R380

The Prince R380 was a legendary Japanese race car that competed in the 1966 Japanese Grand Prix. Totally get that feeling sometimes about posting into the void, but everyday I'm reminded I'm not and the content I'm churning out has value to people.

Don't worry the Delahaye Type 145 is in the pipeline at least car news wise as I want to cover it headlining at Hampton Court Concours this year in September. Just haven't got enough time to write a op-ed about it.

You will enjoy it fren. Going to take me a little bit as info is sparse and some of the existing internet sources say widely different things, so need to figure out what the truth is. Probably be finished for tomorrow.

Cars are one of those things even if you young or old or never driven one you can still appreciate the engineering, styling and the idea of freedom that driving (a road legal car at least) something you own on the open road entails! One of the best ways to travel, imo!
