Sharing your xpub when mixing defeats the purpose. Anyone with that information can see every transaction that wallet has ever made or will ever make. Now only UTXOs are shared.

If you mix your funds in a mixer that has the xpubs of the majority of users, you are still playing with a marked deck, even if your hand isn't.
If your hardware wallet has multiple iterations the company no longer supports, you're gonna have a bad time.
I made my first bitcoin a decade+ ago in a bitcoin chatroom that did just that!
Considering how many people think there are flaws in trezor that can lead to a loss of funds, I'm gonna say a few marketing departments for competing wallets are working overtime.
Which "hack"? The fake trezor that was never plugged into trezor suite, which would have flashed warnings, or the "hack" that is mitigated by using a passphrase, which is what you're supposed to do anyway?
Why? If it's fake or modified the software will tell you the first time you use it with #Trezor Suite. Supply chain attacks are one of the first things a conpany should secure against. if they haven't, they just suck.
Trezor if you want the OG all the others are based off of (even if they rewrote their code years later)
Jade if you want something cheap and reliable.
It's a great pity that this design concept of #Trezor wallet failed to materialize. I know, it's a cold wallet, stored in a cold place...
Still, if it looked like this, I'd probably get some of that bitcoin... 😎
