Certain parts of the bitcoin ‘community’ are seen as toxic yet the protocol has had an uptime of 99.98% since it was introduced 14 years ago…
Many other ‘communities’ are way less toxic yet their protocols don’t have that kind of uptime
So should u really buy a ‘crypto’ based off its community or the first principles of its protocol?
I’d say stick with the best protocol… communities come and go… Bitcoin is forever #btc

The problem I see with a lot of people is they don’t understand the difference between what #btc is vs what crypto is
They conflate the two which shows they don’t understand either
It’s why many people say “crypto is a scam” when referring to both bitcoin and other cryptos
Bitcoin is a new technology that separates the state from the money
Crypto is a legacy technology that puts the power in the hands of large stakeholders like the founder(s)/foundation
