I went through some nostr sites yesterday and noticed that some had expired domains and many were down.
The best time to build when the hype is gone?
How would you change the listing process if there were 10k apps applying a day?
âThey hope to record billions of the animalsâ clicking sounds with floating hydrophones, and then to decipher the soundsâ meaning using neural networksâŚ.
Their codas could be orders of magnitude more ancient than Sanskrit.â

Funny how countries change their stance with Russiaâs advancement.
Do they become like CEE when Russia is at their border?
âSending western troops to fight in Ukraine âcould not be ruled outâ and that Paris would drop its long-standing opposition to purchasing emergency artillery supplies for Ukraine from outside the EU.â
X api is so bad that you get only the post functionality without paying the basic monhtly fee. You cannot even search your tweets vs. Spotifyâs API experience with a 30s rolling rate limit that is generous (with a free account).
BTW, https://stats.nostr.band/ is not loading the graphs on my devices today.
Is Nostr down đ
Switch to 100% arabica like Mike said, and expresso shots have less caffeine than drip coffee. If you want the same volume make it americano. Tastes better, too )
Everything is a huge mess now. I was trying to figure out how to monitor my accounts in various networks. Itâs not an easy task. Threads, X, IG etc. do not allow you to search without the native app or some commercial API integration partner.
Nostr keyword search is not that easy either unless you want to build something. Polling relays is one thing but try to do it with no-code tools (like you can do Mastodon or Atproto searches).
If youâre lucky and the push-notifications are working with each networks clients then you might get the mentions etc but it takes effort to keep in mind to check Threads once in a while :D
Russian meddling with elections and threatening with nukes are nothing new. From 60 years ago:
âThe Soviet Union was mainly motivated by a desire to ensure Kekkonen's re-election in 1962. Kekkonen, who enjoyed the confidence of the Soviet leadership, was seeking re-election for the first time, and his main opponent, Olavi Honka [fi], was regarded as having a good chance of victory with the backing of a six-party coalition, including two major parties, the Social Democrats and the National Coalition. The extent to which Kekkonen may himself have been involved in orchestrating the incident is disputed, but it is commonly accepted that he was expecting a Soviet intervention in the presidential election, and Kekkonen is known to have planned dissolving the Finnish parliament, forcing his opponents to campaign together in the presidential election and against each other in the parliamentary election at the same timeâŚ
The note coincided with the detonation of the Tsar Bomba, the most powerful nuclear test in history, and followed close on the heels of the Berlin Crisis and Bay of Pigs Invasion.â
Digitalisation finally enters Hollywood after roaming elsewhere for decades:
âTo his mind, AI tech poses an existential risk to the entertainment industry that it can't ignore: "Thereâs got to be some sort of regulations in order to protect us. If not, I just donât see how we survive."
Onboard more people. Find the community that clicks the most for Nostr at this point.
I have noticed a significant drop in acitivity this year. All went to:

Have you checked if itâs included in the account archive zip file?
Some of the tools I used a year or two ago had that feature but they may be broken:
âWe pretend to hurt our enemies but without hurting our own interests. Everyone involved in these posturing policies knows this. Nobody cares.
..Any country can ban bankers, lawyers, accountants, company directors and others from the rest of the world who keep the wheels turning for the Kremlin. The plutocratic elite is accustomed to frictionless globetrotting but only because we allow it. Even the faintest prospect of landing on a âno-flyâ list of enablers would be an alarming prospect.â

âFinland-based HD Parts OY has made thousands of shipments of spare parts since 2022, making it one of the largest foreign suppliers of truck parts to Russian companies.â
âThis week a security deal was announced that could see Chinese police on the streets of HungaryâŚ
It has long been Chinese Communist party policy to drive a wedge between Europe and America, and in a narrow sense its investment in Hungary has paid dividends, since Orban has faithfully blocked the EU from issuing communiques criticising human rights abuses in China and been a drag more broadly on security-related affairs, such as the expansion of Nato and support for Ukraine, which also serve Beijingâs wider security interests.â

I donât know what that means. It has many clients, 400k algos, new hosting options now etc.
âEven when Europe can produce combat forces, they often lack the things needed to fight effectively and for long enough: command-and-control capabilities, such as staff officers trained to run large headquarters; intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, such as drones and satellites; logistics capabilities, including airlift; and ammunition to last for longer than a week or soâ

âOn Bluesky, server choice doesnât affect what content you see. Servers are only one piece of the protocol â when you browse Bluesky, you see posts that are pulled together from many different servers. This is why you can change your server after signing up without losing your username, friends, or posts.â
âthe top 25% most active posters were responsible for 98% of all public videos. The previous study on Twitter reveals a nearly identical statistic, showing that the top 25% posters produced 97% of all tweets.
The study also found that age wasnât necessarily a factor in assessing adultsâ TikTok posting habits. Participants aged 18-34 are more likely to use TikTok in the first place than those aged 35-49, but in both age groups, about half of users never posted.â
