At Thanksgiving dinner I played some #SonJarocho with a friend, "Guacamaya" and "Bamba." The style is flexible enough for big fandango events or little jams at home.

I have used it for remote access to personal devices via ssh. For any device you run it as a service or daemon with a configuration file. I don't think it has Tor type exit gateways. It is designed as an internal network invisible to the internet. Like Tor, it's slow.

I believe that person would need to bridge their bluesky account with something like Bridgy Fed. If they do that for you, you can follow each other without a bluesky account. You'd have to join the bridge as well.
