again the only reason most of these “schemes” exists is because they are attempting to patch holes in a leaky system, these things only seem practical when using soft money.

humans have a natural inclination to find the easiest way to do things *that they’re incentivized to do* otherwise we opt not to do it; if people didn’t have to jump through these financial hoops to make ends meet they wouldn’t, simple as that

everyone is more then capable of becoming their own bank on the core layer, and their own payment processor on the second⚡️
the only economy that makes sense is one that’s #ValueForValue otherwise it *is* unethical, time arbitrage is perfectly fine when it’s based off a #V4V exchange.
e.g. Futures contracts for wheat production; farmer gets money to live through the year, contract holder gets wheat at the end as “profit” & since the value given isn’t inflated away you don’t need to worry about yield on savings.
it becomes an issues when you start gambling on the outcomes of these contracts, especially when they can be manipulated for financial gain.
