You only live in a materialist reality, which is a subset of reality.
I don't believe that married couples of any kind should be given any sort of "tax benefits" or "protections" outside of what everyone else already gets. The State should never have been involved in marriage in the first place. You're missing the point entirely.
When you really look at it, pride month is more about loudly acknowledging that you despise God and love the world.
The point I was making in the OP was that alcoholics, gluttons, adulterers - they are not (typically) proud of their sin so openly. Only folks in the pride movement *identify* with their sin so extravagantly.
I pray that each and every person on Earth repents of their sin and turns to Christ Jesus to be their Lord and Savior.

The problem with the entire pride movement is that it is a movement of people who openly live in and identify in their sin. It would be like someone who proclaims to the world that they are a raging alcoholic or serial adulterer, they're proud of it, and love being around people who love sin as much as they do.
It's a good analogy that conveys truth. It doesn't settle well with you because you reject God and accept the world instead.
