I thrive in incomprehensibility.

Isn't that a scene from Logan's Run?

Remember when they used to make movies (and stories and songs...) AGAINST the ruling powers? Jack mentioned somebody mandating electric cars, and it reminded me of "The Last Chase" from 1981, where personal vehicles are outlawed (for you and me, of course congress still needed their limos) and when Lee Majors defies them and drives a car cross country, since consuming petroleum is evil, they send a JET FIGHTER after him. It'd be poetic if it weren't such a common theme today (i.e. the elites need to figure out what to make us do to reduce coยฒ so they each get in their private jets with three other private jets for security and support teams to decide how we should be constrained). Anyway, this little scene was enjoyable, and if you recognize the kid who claps, you are DEFINITELY a child of the 80s.

That sticker they promised finally arrived, Not as cool as I'd hoped it would be... At least I can get off the mailing list now.

Today is the anniversary of D-Day.

Ask yourself; is this the world that the 'allies' fought and died for, or does it more resemble the world the nazi's were trying to usher in?

Then ask why.

The end of the world as we know it, is just the end of the world as WE know it.

A bit of chicken ingenuity. One climbed up the Serviceberry tree and ate the berries she could get, while the rest of them jumped at the now lowered fruit and /or ate up the berries that she nocked loose.

And with this the final nail goes into the coffins of shit coins like Algorand and Cardano. Softwar by Jason Lowery connected the last dot on BTC Dominance for me.

I feel dumb for not getting there on my own. I have said forever that what backs bitcoin is security. DUH! Once you understand that security is the point, security of money, security of data, there is no difference. Data is money and money is data. Matter is energy and energy is matter. (hold up, some of y'all ain't ready for that yet ๐Ÿ˜€ )

Anyway if you look at the entire "crypto" space though a lens of security, #bitcoin is the only thing left standing. When you want security, do you want okay security, decent security, half ass security?

No you want the best.

The only reason people settle for second best in security is lack of access or the cost. Well security via Bitcoin is open to all and it is CHEAP, because you pay for it only when you secure something one time, then you never pay again unless you transfer ownership of it.

So if you are going to secure a land title, a deed, a car title, a contract, your will, your personal data, corporate data, etc. why would you use any security other than the BEST security you can get.

And nothing man has ever built is more secure than Bitcoin because it imposes a physical cost in the virtual world. When you view it this way, the entire "slow" and scaling problem goes away. They are not flaws in bitcoin they are features.

The slow and hard parts of the blockchain make trying to hack the network so costly that you just can't afford to attack it. It is like a shied that makes you impossible to harm but the harder an enemy hits you the more they hurt themselves.

POS networks can't do this, any POW network that isn't bitcoin simply isn't as secure. There is no place for 2nd place. The highest hash rate other than BTC is LTC. LTC has a hash rate of 770 TH/s, BTC's hash rate is 345 EH/s.

The magnitude is such that to quote Ricky Bobbie, "If you're not first you're last".

Energy is matter (mass) at the speed of lightยฒ right? And didn't some redneck hippy duck farmer say something about bitcoin and the speed of light? Totally makes sense.

Anyone have personal experience with 'Grounding' or 'earthing'? The concept seems reasonable, but I'd love to hear form folks who've seen benefit...

In the summer, unless I'm in the chicken yard, I'm pretty much bare foot anyway, but I found this very intriguing.

Every now and then spring clean up, just sets the broom on fire... It happens.

A) This chick looks JUST like the evil news chick in They Live.

B) Have you noticed that 'news' 'reporters' now spend most of their time interviewing other 'news' 'reporters' who just say what they want you to be afraid of?

C) As ever, the 'solution' is someone stealing more of your money.

Stop trusting the systems that have done nothing but take your money and your health your entire life.

I think someone changed the meaning of the words 'triggered', 'ultra' and 'weird' while I wasn't looking.

It kinda sounds like you're giving people permission to have opinions, but if they express them they must be assigned some kind of pejorative labels, insinuating it's some sort of loud emotional response...

'Impolite'? Sure. 'Triggered'? Not in any way that I see.

Just on the odd chance that anyone else gets as lost as me, the page to get a subscription is on your account page here: https://www.midjourney.com/account/

Not sure why it kept taking me back to their main page, but they had a get started page that let to quick start page, that led to docs, that led to the account page!

Looks like they don't have a trial or free sub at this point, so I may just try it for a month for $10...

I tried my best, spend 20 minutes going back and forth through midjourney and discord. I read the getting started on discord and when I tried to use it discord told me I need a subscription, and I clicked the link for the subscription (which took me back to the main midjourney page), and signed up for the beta, and same thing. At this point I don't know what it wants. Guess I'll try it again down the road...
