I thrive in incomprehensibility.

Good God he just perfectly described why it took me so long to start stacking!

God bless you not just for your work, but for your humble yet direct assessment of the situation!

nostr:npub1kyk7ac33apd7cx0nun3laevf84zfhr8pt8kj4h8v7cpx9t72d4gqkyea0g; I recall seeing a video recently where you mentioned that you had been wrong on vegetables, or some specific vegetables in a previous video you'd done. I was doing specific (and somewhat frantic) research so I didn't watch it, but it later made me curious:

Do you remove videos that you believe you were wrong in? Do you leave them for 'historical integrity' ? Do you Mark them or add a explanatory intro and leave them?

I'm looking through a lot of old videos at this point and I just want to be sure that you are still confident in the info I'm seeing.

Thanks for any clarification you can offer!!

Saving value in dollars is like saving water in a funnel.

Hey Bitcoin chumps! Did you see the S&P is up nearly 0.4% today. Bet you all feel silly!

Story time:

6 years ago my mother in law was left penniless in a surprise divorce at age 67.

My father in law (piece of shit) had left her with nothing and planned to dump her on social security.

She was working as a pre school teacher making $14 an hour.

We had to move fast.

Father in law literally shotgun divorced her.

Showed up at the doorstep with a notary and manipulated an emotionally fragile woman into a binding legal agreement.

I was pissed.

I showed up a few hours later with a series of financial plans.

And with tears still streaming down her face in the kitchen of her tiny apartment, she picked one.

I gave her 3 options.

1. Aggressive

2. Extremely aggressive

3. Dave Ramsey rice and beans

She chose number 3.

Over the next 4 years she rode her bike to work everyday. Watered down her lemonade. Spent nothing on herself. Walked dogs for extra income. Took weekend shifts at the preschool. Showed up early. Stayed late and against all odds was able to save 12k a year on a salary of only 27k.

I set up a couple retirement accounts for her and whenever she would scratch $1,000 together she would give it to me and I would smash buy GBTC or MSTR.

My mother in law has never invested a day in her life and I didn’t want the news or some boomer friend to freak her out, so my wife and I just tell her she’s invested in “the market” 😂

When Bitcoin (the market) is doing good, we tell her and when it’s not we just… don’t tell her lol

So she’s effectively shielded from the emotional volatility of hodling. Which makes her a very good hodler.

Fast forward to today.

I helped her retire from the preschool. She is now living with us and helping look after her grandchildren.

She went from being near suicidal. My wife and I were legitimately concerned about her mental health. To a happy healthy and vibrant grandmother.

And as of yesterday she crossed 500k in retirement accounts.

I expect she’ll be a millionaire soon.

She can now comfortably retire with dignity.

This is not something that would have been possible without Bitcoin.

As cool as it is to see people like @saylor make billions of dollars these are the stories I live for.

The average person fixing their life with bitcoin.

It’s so fucking beautiful man.

Life’s good.

I couldn't imagine the end at the beginning of the story.

I thought it was going to be one of those 'Who wants to help me beat the shit out of someone?' stories.

Seeing your mother in law RESTORED, and gain peace and financial security, especially at that point in her life, after so much turmoil, is so much better.

I'm a bit younger, but there is nothing that we need more as we get older than financial peace and access to our grandkids.

You providing her both is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen.

unify /yoo͞′nə-fī″/

transitive verb

To cause to be one

I don't listen to crazy people much, but I haven't heard anyone suggest that bitcoin and government should unify.

Secondly, if they did, that's not WE, that's they or them. We, as far as I've seen, haven't become anything new.

Absolutely! (I think most things in life are spiritual journeys!)

I am VERY hesitant to compare anything in any way to Jesus, but in this case I keep thinking of the story where Jesus asked his apostles if they were going to leave, and they basically responded 'to whom would we go?? You have the words of life'.

BIG difference between the words of life, and the coin of value retention, but what else is there that I can use to protect my value, and NOT feel like shit about it. Apple stock? So they can get more slave labor in china? US government bonds?

There simply is NOTHIGN else that is as good or as "good".

Speaking of "all time highs"; my all time high was 267 Lbs. (possibly a bit more because there was time I was a bit fatter still, but didn't monitor or record my weight).

I have a 'rock solid constitution', so I was always able to eat whatever I wanted... which ended up being crap.

A while back I started eating keto and had some success, but would still eat crap on 'days off' that I chose.

A couple months ago my wife and I stopped eating ANY ultra processed foods, seed oils and sugars / HFC.

Today for literally the first time in this century I'm down to 200 LBS.

Not stopping now!

Thanks to my wife (who makes it easy to eat great food that isn't bad for me!), to nostr:npub1kyk7ac33apd7cx0nun3laevf84zfhr8pt8kj4h8v7cpx9t72d4gqkyea0g for his quality advice and to nostr:npub15879mltlln6k8jy32k6xvagmtqx3zhsndchcey8gjyectwldk88sq5kv0n for calling himself 'a fat ass' when he was thinner than me!

I got in literally the last day of 2020, and purchased as high as 57k before it dropped to 17k.

Don't know that I was quite that bold as it was my first major dip after seeing it rise to 68k, so it was 'uncomfortable' but where else would I go at that point?

Price goes up, price goes down, but what it IS doesn't change.
