I spent a lot of time getting a feel for the community online, and as you say, I have a few favorites, but I think our time in RL is best spent locally on encouraging adoption, stacking sats, and becoming better human beings in general.
Another way I look at it, is that it would be strange to have US Dollar meet ups. So in a sense, BTC, the money, isn't the glue, instead it's the Bitcoin revolution against Central Banks and Keynesianism that is the glue. When we beat them, it would be odd to meet up to talk about our money.

CZ imo. Swan is small enough to get bailed out, but once Binance starts imploding, I don't see anyone who can and would step in.
And I’m in a country where you can’t even defend your property with weapons, so I’m basically making a massive investment in developing government owned land that I rent through property taxes and rates, that I then cannot defend, and that will possibly be taken as reparations or war taxes or eminent domain for some save the planet climate change park etc.
Not that I’m against owning a property, as a lot of what governments do is to keep the property Ponzi going, it just feels much lower priority at the moment than stacking bitcoin.
