I received my first sats from a friend in a study group back in 2013, he was trying to show me this new system of payments. Since them, I've been hoarding bitcoin, but never used it for buying anything. Why pay for stuff in strong money if I can spend fiat? Now I'm looking to leave academia and be paid in real money for good.
I'm from the field of embedded systems originally but have been working on functional programming and models of computation more recently. About bitcoin, I'm still digging the internals of the protocol before focusing on an specific subfield. Also, I'm attending chaincode labs FOSS program in the hope to accelerate my learning.

Yeah, thanks. I'm figuring out how to make it.

I'm a professor of electronics and computer engineering at the University of Brasília, currently pivoting my skill set to the bitcoin space.
