When Peter schiff compares with use case of cigarettes as money in prison because people want to USE cigarettes to smoke. Similarly Bitcoin's use case is it being the worlds first transparent money, no one can cheat. So people want to USE Bitcoin because they not getting shafted. Thats why these string of numbers have a demand! If this USE case doesn't apply any more (if bitcoin some how reveals a flaw that allows people to cheat, which isn't possible), then this belief could change. Similarly if those people who smoke cigarettes realise they could get lung cancer and die, stop smoking then demand for cigarettes would dwindle, and cease to be money in prisons. Because nobody wants them. When USD hyperinflates and no one want it anymore, it will cease to be money. Gold has already been tried and tested. Its got too many flaws and is losing against bitcoin. If we have WW3 all of Internet destroyed, all computers, hard drives holding record of bitcoin block chain destroyed then yeah sure gold wins. Peter schiff is doing a great job winding us all up!

I've given up watching debates with peter Schiff. its always the same argument, no intrinsic value, not used for anything (ummmm the onlything that restore trust duhhh, and transparency) its going to zero (does he really believe this?), its a ponzi (I give up!) won't ever be used as payment ( not so sure about that, look at lightning), too volatile (first asset to be truely free market hence we can see what free market volatility is for the first time ever). blah blah blah. someone let me know if I missed anything, and whether I should take the time to watch the video.
