I'm the Z4 Explorer. Exploring the world in my suped up Z4!!! aka Suboss. My goal in life is to be a Professional "nobody".

88 miles / hour. We heading to the future! ⚑

I didn't like it when Trump referred to it as a national "stockpile". I think he intentionally didn't use the word national "reserve" to make it easier to backtrack. Cautiously optimistic πŸš€

For those of you that live in Australia, send this to the tax man, and claim you don't need to pay any tax. If its in the newspaper then it must be real! πŸ™Š

But bitcoin still fixes inflation issue. Stops countries from printing when they want. Prices of things will more accurately reflect reality rather than governments supporting massive industries. Stops endless wars etc. Etc.

The lack of Bitcoin's privacy can be viewed as a good thing too, stops governments from behaving corruptly because its all transparent. They can't hide.

Obviously I've already discussed disadvantage of lack of privacy to individual if government makes something illegal and then tracks the person breaking the law through bitcoin. At which point I would consider use of Monero or another privacy tool either another coin or bitcoin may well adopt in future through secondary layer.

Bitcoin standard is better than Fiat by a factor of, I dont know, massively.

It is hard to project that far ahead. There are factors variables we all haven't considered or not aware of which could push towards either direction.

The way I see it if Monero is to be the new Bitcoin, then even then Bitcoin needs to massively succeed first. Monero's privacy is too much to be accepted by institutions and government.

Sometimes you can't jump straight to a solution has to be done in steps. Thats my two sats. 🐡

I've joined you too unfortunately. It's very energy consuming trying to orange pill. If someone shows the slightest amount of interest I happily go full on into orange pill mode. Otherwise these days I resist trying talking about it. Its like we are talking a different language, next to impossible to communicate. Thsts reality. 😳

Yeah AI could be a good use.

Don't be afraid to over ride, and follow your own intuition gut.

Key to branding, break down what you want to say, why you want to say it, sync up the two. And then overlap with who you targeting, what appeals to them etc.

I think alot of branding goes wrong with over prioritising certain aspect, neglecting another.

And finally the feel.

You could follow the rules perfectly but what does it feel like. Sometimes it doesn't work.

Last bit formula is you. You gonna be living breathing this everyday. So make sure it all ties up with what drives you.

Eg. You could brand something thats visually not as good but it really ties with the person. And so end result it works. Something is only as successfully as the energy someone puts into it. So its all about getting the balance right.

Best branding company realise this. I think its a difficult skill to master.

I'd be happy to be sounding board if u want any ideas / feedback from me.

I like to help those I like. But I have to warn you, Big Boss Bear actually thinks he is a monkey πŸ™ŠπŸ™ŠπŸ™Š

I bet you really tried Jake. And I bet you could feel the more you spoke, the more he wanted to sell. Its a sinking in the stomach feel. 😬

Someone I know wanted to sell last few days to pay for something really expensive they could easilly delay for a year or 2. πŸ™‰ I think I convinced them to hodl. I hope they took my advice. He may have just agreed with me because I was doing is head in.

🀞 hope he listened 🀞

I tried my best to convince people around me to buy when we crashed to 15.5k. Including my accountant. Very few listened. πŸ˜”

Going forward most people will be locked out of getting a whole bitcoin. And the few that have savings over 100k won't be willing to convert all their money to bitcoin as they still perceive Bitcoin as risky. πŸ™‰

I feel the money in my bank is the risky part of my wealth. Fiat - Close you eyes and hope. πŸ™ˆ Only hold as much as you are willing to lose πŸ’―

But even half Bitcoin is amazing πŸ‘

Future value will be face melting. 😱

Would you recommend Thailand? I'm looking for places to visit, for 1 month or longer. I've heard great things about Thailand. Never visited mainland Thailand but spent a week in Ko samui. Fantastic place. β˜€οΈ

Thanks for long list of references. I doubt I will ever get through all those!

My guess is if Bitcoin was as private as Monero, there would be alot more severe backlash and resistance to it from government / authorities. So we'd end up having something that would never get mass adoption, or momentum would be hindered which severely reduce its growth.

100% privacy isn't needed 100% of the time. So even if Bitcoin doesn't solve privacy issue completely then I could literally just switch to privacy coin as and when required. It seems like a good balance.

Makes sense to me.

If Bitcoin really isn't private enough, then over time, we will begin to realise this practically and switch to Monero or different alternative privacy coin. In reality I think people will opt to give up privacy in the case of Bitcoin because it is the largest decentralised network in the world, which makes it more secure and much bigger than Monero. Therefore Bitcoin perceived as safer. When we really need the privacy which clearly isn't 100% of the time, switch to privacy coin.

From my understanding Monero isn't going to zero so will always be around. Even though it is smaller decentralised network than Bitcoin it still serves its purpose when privacy is number 1 priority and Bitcoin falls short o that particular instance whatever it may be. Because of its smaller size (market cap / size of decentralised network etc.) compared to Bitcoin it locks out the massive companies corporations. So the individual self sovereign still wins.

Monero is a better privacy coin than Bitcoin hands down. But that doesn't mean Bitcoin wont be the main no.1 cryptocurrency used across the world, ubiquitous in every country.

That's the way I'm seeing it in my head. πŸ––

You thinking its good because it means Bitcoin has much further to go. They will only report it once it's at the top of the cycle or near the top. And then reel in people who get wrecked, so then mainatream can follow up with all the stories about how Bitcoin ruins people lives "lost all life saving in bitcoin" tag line. Makes me angry 😠

We went from 80k to almost 90k in less than 24 hours. Thats a 10k jump!!! And nothing. Crazy. Confirms that mainstream news can't be trusted to provide the news. πŸ–•πŸ–•

I think you might be right. They have no empathy. Very disconnected. 😳

The privacy issue does concern me slightly. I'm thinking if I have a problem in the future, then I could convert my bitcoin to Monero and back to bitcoin to conceal who ownes it. That would work wouldn't it? So then i could still buy / or be involved in what things we consider normal today that might be banned in the future. And so difficult for the authority to know its me. Or just buy in Monero.

I dont hold any Monero. (Not yet, but am thinking of holding some just incase).

I think Bitcoin transparency is a good thing, otherwise we get governments doing all kinds of dodgy stuff behind our backs. But obviously negative is government makes something illegal and then we are exposed using Bitcoin because we be caught "breaking the law."

Paying for something with Lightning is as good as anonymous right? So then thats problem solved right? πŸ€”

You are a brave soul, mixing with the riff raff. Just be careful Joe, you might be inspired to make your own rap song, in a gangsta rap voice, with big gold chains driving a flashy lambo, surrounded with all honeys. πŸ™ˆ

On second thoughts, that sounds like the life πŸ™‰.

Yeah bring it on... πŸ€™πŸ€™πŸ€™
