This is a bad take.

Should the developer use their own funds and burn bitcoin to keep their app afloat when they have 250K users, that use their app for free? No. That's not how the world should work. We appreciate value for value as Bitcoiners and we appreciate and recognize proof of work. We should want them to get paid for their work.

The developer should not change their lifestyle or hinder their family's lives too much just because they are building. Some sacrifices can be and should be made, but this isn't a permanent choice. As an entrepreneur, you tighten you belt a little from time to time and make needed sacrifices in the hopes that some day you will not have to do this. With V4V we have the opportunity to make this happen sooner.

Anti-Money Laundering

We have two types of #bitcoin plebs who keep hurting bitcoin to gratify themselves:

1. Bitcoin plebs who promote KYC/AML

2. Bitcoin plebs who promote Apple

These two types of plebs don't seem to understand bitcoin for some reason.

The Apple users seem to be more loyal to Apple than bitcoin 🤷

I can see that an anonymous peat, well protected behind its alias & its smartphone-interface, can only damage the reputation & courage of a ‘developer’ who has been fighting for months, weeks, days, with his face uncovered, overwhelmed by fines & ultimately doomed to the straw of a banishment of his works !

The wheel can turn differently & what you are denouncing is only the experience of an honest person who has understood ‘Life’. It’s not a 'karma'!

Give us his name, it will make you a male otherwise stop your 'nonsense'...

Why are you adopting this attitude ?

The problem is beyond one individual, the issue here is that a central entity, decides what you can and cannot do in the app that you are spent time to develop.

Nothing is free, if you invested time and money into building something, it’s only natural to look for monetization, to sustain your product.

I haven’t travelled in years… and I have a very good job … we just do road trips here in Ontario. Every time I go to book a flight and hotel for a family of 4 it is minimum $10,000 USD …. Travel is insane #travel #nostr #bitcoin

Because they got sucked into a marketing campaign that makes them feel special and like the rest of the world is a forgotten apocalyptic wasteland of disconnected technologies, and they feel like they have to bow down and take it to have nice toys. The amount of very smart people I see who are either afraid to or unwilling to learn to use something that's not even difficult because it involves effort astounds me. It's mass Stockholm Syndrome.
