Brookfield Renewables, is owned by Brookfield Asset Management, which is owned by Brookfield Corporation, which appears to be divided amongst various large stock holders, such as banks and investment funds. So I guess it’s arguably mostly Canadian-ish, unless you want to go down the rabbit hole of who owns those banks and funds. It’s nearly impossible to determine who actually “owns” anything anymore, because it’s just shell corporations all the way down.
