Yes, I'm perfectly willing to accept "user error" as the reason, though I'm pretty good at dealing with new tech and instructions. I'll try it again another time.
I don't like that comparison, as I don't like either peanut butter or jelly! π€ͺ
I first read Atlas Shrugged in 1983. Blew me away. The second Rand book I read was the Fountainhead. I agree it's a better and easier to read novel and feels more personal. From then on I suggested the Fountainhead as the best Ayn Rand book to start with.
Having said that, the philosophical "punch" is to be found in Atlas Shrugged.
Very interesting. So I decided to follow the instructions for using eCash. I managed to fund eCash wallet with 50 sats. I was able to create an eCash voucher for 25 sats. Unfortunately, when I attempted to redeem the same voucher (as per instructions), nothing happened and 25 sats vanished into thin air.
I attempted the process a second time, but ended up losing the sats again. I read the instructions multiple times and believed I took all the correct steps, but it didn't work for me.
Give the newly released Iris app a try - now on the iOS App Store.
It's given me an optimistic anchor in these troubled times. The world is saturated with bad news and the "good" gets omitted. Bitcoin changes that and brings one's attention to the potential of a brighter future.
Welcome to superior Nostr experience. Have you tried the newly released iOS version? Equally impressive.
I totally agree. It appeals to my sense of design and functionality.
As far as I can tell, yes. Recently I started to see zap counts appearing on posts, and I receive specific payment notifications if someone zaps me.
Can any other wallet link to Alby this way? I was never a big fan of blue wallet.
I downloaded the newly released version of Iris from the iOS App store and am impressed. It manages to retain the clean organised look of the web version and everything worked fine for me. I'll still use the web version mostly, as I find its integration with Alby wallet to be a great feature, making payments a breeze.

These still work:
h/t #[0]
But savvy Chinese can still access using VPN.
Bitcoin skeptics always sounding of with "bitcoin has no use case", need to be on Nostr - just to witness the explosion of Lightning usage due to just one thing - integration of Lightning with a social network. Mind boggling and proof positive that Lightning has a bright future.
I think the idea is you can talk about whatever stuff you like. No guarantee that others will "like" it though.
Doesn't quite sound right. How about just "Nostrd"?
Maybe this simply proves an old maxim - garbage in, garbage out.
