Old news though 😉

This is why I plan to make my run locally. I really need to set aside more time to work on this.

Can't block localhost. ^_^

The beauty of having the capability to send notes to a distributed set of relays across the world.

China still China, nothing changes

Winning.

Can I run snort in a serverless way with s3+cloudfront combo ?

Meanwhile Chinese users that have found us are informing of their desire to burn themselves. 😮 Thank you for creating this platform for us it's yuge!

Wait what…Jesus H

#[1] Ha! bitcoin has been already banned 23 times, probably, looking forward for the next one

LN-enabled Tor relays to first fix Tor, then fix Nostr censorship of front-ends with Tor?

Isn't TOR blocked in China as well?

I think it can accessible via Snowflake.

Yup. Can use obfs4, too. Still a PT is needed in China.

"yes" in public bridge.

"maybe" in private bridge.

There are no blocks :)

The global page is still full of posts in Chinese. I wonder what that means

That Snort and Damus aren't the only clients.

Fair, but a lot of activity seems spam-bot driven. Looks malicious. If all clients eventually get blocked in China, but Chinese spam-bot activity continues, that's something worrying. In any case, relay operators may be able to efficiently block such spam

In that case. Pick a social circle. Clone the conversation content of all users in the social circle. And then use the imitation domain name to do NIP-05 authentication. Then you can form a fake social network and use it for fraud, right?

You can run Nostrid in your local device and configure it to use a proxy (it can be Tor or any other): https://github.com/lapulpeta/Nostrid/blob/master/Doc/HowToSetupProxy.md

Just learning about Nostrid, looks cool. Any plans for a Linux client?

Thank you! We are exploring options to support Linux. It's definitely something we're interested in.

v1.25 includes experimental binaries for Linux (tested in Ubuntu) https://github.com/lapulpeta/Nostrid/releases/tag/v1.25

Congratulations 🎉

I think 🧐 it means it’s relevant enough to worry about right 😂

We need to decentralise DNS servers and BUIDL meshed networks. #[0]

But savvy Chinese can still access using VPN.
