Bitcoin has given me hope for a better future.
It's given me an optimistic anchor in these troubled times. The world is saturated with bad news and the "good" gets omitted. Bitcoin changes that and brings one's attention to the potential of a brighter future.

I’ve been a Saver at heart my whole life. I still have some silver half dollars from my childhood. And… I remember when they stopped being silver. 🤨
My kids not have some pristine, won’t ever tarnish, can’t be debased Satoshis. I can save again without feeling like I’m holding a melting ice cube. h/t #[2]
Also as #[3] spoke of recently, I’ve been painfully aware that every stock has had those 24 risks. Stocks have never felt like savings.
Bitcoin is my Freedom Fund. It is my family’s Freedom Fund. It’s the money my Kinfolk know as their own. It’s stewarded in a way that finally feels like it can hold the energy I put into my work, my heartistry, and all y’all, too.
Everything.
Made me poor as hell (in fiat terms).
It made me keenly aware of Proof of Work.
No more wishing for things. Now it's just prioritizing and working toward them.
Sounds really obvious but most of my adult life was spent just drifting along and hoping for the best.
Gave me peace of mind. I was always aware of inflation eating my savings and always felt such anxiety that I had to make a return greater than the inflation rate or I was just going backwards. No matter how much I saved it never felt like it was enough. Saving in bitcoin is finally making me feel like I have control
Helped me understand money, and reevaluate everything else in light of that.
It took me from kinda poor to.... Let's just say not poor.
