Good morning all. For once I have a serious question and could use Nostrs help. I work at a mid size asset management company. They are asking questions about putting “money market funds on the blockchain.” Fidelity just filed a money market fund that will not only have traditional record keeping but will also issue a digital token on Ethereum (sigh).
Here’s my question - who is the right person to ask if somehow digital money market tokens on lightning is actually feasible?
I thought I recall that with taproot, tokens over lighting might be possible. Pardon my ignorance here. My motivation is, if you are going to explore a digital money market fund, at least do it on a network with staying power vs Eth.. thanks all. #bitcoin
Fidelity is a big shitcoiner
Sure.
1. Groundhog day (you might have already seen this)
2. Triangle
3. Time crimes (a Spanish movie - Los cronocrímenes)
4. Timeloop - https://youtu.be/35z4bChYS_A?si=jB_USppW6FriSwU8
5. Maanaadu (means Large Gathering/Political rally - a Tamil movie)
Among these, Time crimes and Triangle are my personal favs.
Groundhog Day is one of those movies that if it’s on, will cause me to immediately stop what I’m doing to watch
The media is too busy crying about everything Trump does to report on anything else
I stopped using it about a year ago. The wheel is insulting. My thought is that they should pay a flat reward and be done with it. I just use my Gemini card for that reason - even though I don’t really like supporting that company
“President Donald Trump suggested that people found guilty of attacking Tesla properties could serve their sentences in El Salvador prisons.”

Who is McNeese?!?!
Are these games good? I just checked the Wargaming site out and at first glance, it looks pretty cool
He’s going to announce that some shitcoiner will speak at the next conference probably
Sorry!! I messed that up! It’s only $200M
Sorry I wrote that too fast - a 2% allocation would imply that $200M (not $2B) would go into IBIT
Blackrock recently made some news when they announced that their most aggressive asset allocation models would invest ~2% in bitcoin etfs. To put that into perspective, an estimated $100B tracks BlackRock allocation models in total (source: Cerulli). Probably less than 10% of that is in the most aggressive models (60/40 is the sweet spot), which means that maybe $2B will go into IBIT as a result. It’s a start and better than nothing but not yet a game changer IMO
I like rhythm. I like rhymes. I like the girlies with the def behinds
Bitcoin has had a great year up 26% - significantly outpacing global equities (around +9%). Sure it couldn’t match gold at +38% but you can’t win em all!!
Bitcoin was $896 on the day of Trumps first inauguration in 2017 and $35k when he left office in 2021. He was great for bitcoin without even knowing it!
Trump has been good for sound money!!
For those of us that are not taking out debt to stack sats, please enjoy the “chair of the week.” I bet I would be able to relax in this…
