No, paying for someones services or product is entirely different than dangling rewards / money to get people to jump.
"Hey if you pretend to be happy more I will give you a zap"
Ultimately people are going to do what they want, regardless of what I think (as they should, after all who am I?).
I just find the act of attempting to coax certain behavior extremely distasteful.
Fuck zaps if all people are going to do is dangle zaps in front of you to get desired behavior.
Rewarding positivity just leads toxic positivity.
Thank you for the reminder to check my own battery stash.
I think the solution to my bitcoin, lightning, and nostr addiction is to go work in these spaces.
Damnit nostr:npub1qny3tkh0acurzla8x3zy4nhrjz5zd8l9sy9jys09umwng00manysew95gx every time I listen to the dispatch I want to go down a bitcoin tech rabbit hole. I am trying to work, but BOLT12 is just so tantalizing.
I wish I understood the conflict in my brain. For context, I just downloaded ollama and played around with it on my local machine. I had fun, it was cool. I used Mistral-7B. It performed great, although I have a computer built for gaming.
On one hand it gives me hope and is exciting. On the other it fills me with dread because of how I feel about the effects it will have on humanity. Which, admittedly, aren't all bad but ultimately are. Just like the internet is turning out to be a net negative IMO.
What has been the biggest challenge in getting the LLM up and running?

FOLLOWS RECOVERED!!!! LFG!
The interesting thing about this whole NIP-37 (editable notes) saga is it's only a draft. it isn't officially part of the protocol yet. Yet it is fully implemented by the author in his client according to his specification. Despite there being competing specs for the same NIP in the works from the Coracle dev (links are on the bottom)
From the discussion I read, it looks like most of the contributors like the Coracles better than the one implemented by Amethyst.
So what now?

In fairness, it will be optional. Clients don't have to implement it.
