I wish the Keybase team would finally open source the server component so that Keybase can continue to live and thrive. I use it every day for messaging and love both kbfs and the integrated encrypted git. Zoom acquiring Keybase back in 2020 was a death blow but Keybase somehow continues to live on (for now).

First PR to LND submitted this week. Hopefully the first of many.

Diving into the LND rabbit hole has been fun.

That’s a win in my book.

Had I started my #LightningNetwork node from scratch I would run LND or CLN manually. A much cleaner setup than Umbrel, Raspiblitz, etc. Easy to compile, run, configure and keep up to date.

Been looking for a fun part time project to pick up for a while. Stumbled upon a few bugs in lnd so here we go!

After rebuilding my node I’m seeing a lot more forwarding with fewer but larger (5-10M) channels than I did before with 120+ smaller (2-5M) channels.

#[0] Hey! Up for a balanced channel?

Only partially. Docker containers only provide partial separation. It’s not like a VM. Your container shares kernel with the host. There have been numerous other container escape vulnerabilities throughout the years as well.

Sure. If we suffer a global catastrophic EMP attack then a) my relay would probably be hit, and b) my Nostr notes is the last thing I’ll care about

To L2ARC or not. That is the question.
