When instances start sharing blocklists of people they don't like, that will form a central authority. It will be very difficult for people to interact with one another and many people will not discover other relays.

Nostr Relay amins are looking at blocking IP's now of 'bad actors". What good is adding a relay when nobody will be able to see it? Add a million relays, go ahead, barely anyone will know of it and want to interact with it because they will get cancelled

What good is the architecture of Nostr when it will be extremely difficult to know of any other instances because of censorship and you will be cancelled by instances just by associating with "a bad instance"

Does not have to be default, the relay software can have it as an add-on that people blindly follow so they won't be criticized by other instances
Another nice thing about Nostr v Fedi is that once you set your relays, you don't really notice or care about where posts came from, it all looks unified like you are on the same platform.

Nope. You could run MinioS3 and upload to there and paste the url to any nostr client to use your own upload service
Iris mostly works , the others suck. Damus is best IOS client
