CPI Reduction Rate Slows
The CPI has only dropped by a measly 1/10 of 1%, from 6.5% in December to 6.4%. Above expectations: expected 6.2%. Core inflation has surged to 5.6%. Energy prices are up to 8.7%. Services excluding housing are up to 8%. Shelter up to 7.9%. And, food up to 10.1%.
The next halving is over 400 days away. So, not yet priced in. Seems obvious to me. 😉
Is this your "first contact"? My first contact with a PC was in 1982 with a Commodore 64. Bought my first IBM PC in 1984 for around $2,000.
