In case you were wondering what the point of https://VerifiedHuman.net is… After Nostrica I’ll be spinning up a Nostream relay and attempting to modify it to only accept Verified Humans.
It’ll be an invite only, spam free relay where the only barrier to entry is being a human and not a spam bot.

I dreamt last night that beautiful POW architecture had made a come back and I walked in a great hall admiring every inch of the stone work and the many detailed reliefs. The calm in that place seemed infinite. Haven’t had a cool dream like that in awhile.

If you receive a verification from the Verified Human account, that means somebody has verified you as human. Congrats! You will only be able to give as many verifications as you receive. The point is to require social proof of work, so getting and giving verifications takes a bit of doing.
If your account is marked as “Progenitor” that means you can give verifications without first receiving them. I’m hoping you will help me spread the word and test this thing by verifying the humans you know. Thanks in advance for this…
Remember, you are only verifying that a Nostr account is operated by a human and not a spam bot to the best of your knowledge. That’s it. Don’t complicate it. :-)
This is still pre-beta so it isn’t perfect yet. We’ll start over with verifications on the 19th. Please give feedback.
Known issues:
- Chrome on Android isn’t working
- When in doubt, refresh. It’s currently the only way to reconnect to relays when those connections get lost
