In it for the freedom.

Yeah, for now some services like Bitrefill and the Bitcoin Company, which are Bitcoin for giftcard services are pretty useful for shopping. In fact if you get good at it, you earn a couple of percentage back that you normally wouldn't have.

I didn't, but I didn't tag them, I guess you just did, so we will see.

Who knows, could be as simple as budgetary. Cashapp has alot more money to spend on developing it, Kraken too.

Unlike Coinbase not adding Lightning, I don't believe Swan doesn't add it in an attempt to have users keep funds on their platform, Swan is great about encouraging withdrawal.

But in my opinion, Swan should not only offer withdrawal to cold storage, but withdrawal into the blossoming Bitcoin circular economy.

BTW, posted this on Twitter too, and on Twitter, people started arguing with me that you aren't supposed to spend Bitcoin.

Why does CashApp have Lightning, but Swan Bitcoin doesn't?

I feel like the people who use Swan are very into the Hodl meme, a meme that needs to start to be replaced with "spend and replace."

If you don't offer Lightning, you aren't interested in offering easily spendible BTC.

But then i figured it out. Its called the maya protocol.

"Maya is a decentralized liquidity protocol that enables the fast and efficient exchange of cryptocurrencies across different chains without intermediaries, bridges, or wrapping. Maya's technical design is based on THORChain, to whom we credit the impressive feat of first designing and building a technically viable, completely decentralized, permissionless exchange. "

Grossssss!

Anyway,

Based on #[2] Bitcoin's op_return is going to be spammed with this project's stuff until the project is dead. The roadmap said the project began March 6th, lol. Anyways, mempool.space says they at least pay about twice the going rate for blockspace for their messages. As you can see below, its not just Bitcoin.

So, I couldn't for the life of me fight out what these were in the op_return.

Their custodial one. They encourage you to run your own node. Also, there are some pretty interesting new ways of spinning up your own noncustodial setup without having any hardware.

Wow! That's the first Bip47 Wallet that also supports Lightning too, I think.

And it will be the first Bitcoin-only iOS Bip47 implementation.

I made this a few weeks back. #Nostrmemes

Well, I don't want sats meant for odell to go to Opensats instead, I'm just saying he should have someone associated with them make a nostr account.

Looks like someone might be publishing altcoin trades (?) in Bitcoin op_return data, but not sure.

If anybody has any theories, I am pretty curious!

Any ideas what this means guys?

#[0], people on Nostr are so generous with their zaps, you know what should have an account? Opensats!

It would be wierd if in the future, someone was a no-coiner, but still used LN-Auth to login to things.
