Feeds are coming. I think this could change things somewhat. You can also currently follow hashtags on clients eg amethyst. Add mute words and phrases to remove bitcoin slogans for eg.

I think feeds will help a great deal. Seems like they're around the corner maybe?

The trend matters and linear growth is not enough. As KPI we need exponential growth or it will remain a drop in the bucket aka super ultra niche. If you are celebrating 3M zaps as if it was great news, you know little about adoption curves.

I have high hopes for nostr and zaps and especially the "other stuff" but these stats don't look too promising.

The Matrix has them for now unfortunately.

Is anyone working on algorithms for feeds on here?

It just seems so obvious that this is one of the two things that will determine whether nostr *as social media* (sure it can be other things) is going to achieve any scale ... but I never see anyone talking about developing this?

The other is scaling, but that's a very vague thought, I have no idea what the issues or solutions around running a relay are (except, paying for service with LN is great).

It is kind of messed up that as a human born into this world - a planet you inherit, you are unable to roam freely the surface, without filling out a bunch of forms, waiting decades in some cases and then getting permission to go.

I get the reasons, but still, feels very unnatural and unethical.
