There is such as overnight success.
There will be a content, a business, a service or a product that will give you a huge success, but you never know which it will be.
So to have an overnight success, you will need overnight hours to hustle through. Many times...

We are different.
Everyone has their own way to react to the things they are facing with. E.g.: reacting to a super cool gift. As we do.
But we shall not expect others to react the same way as we do, because then we might be disappointed as "we are different."

Everyone sees the world differently.
If someone acts totally differently then you would expect, maybe they are not mean just they have a different perspective.
Probably worth it to find out. At the end you or they could learn from it. Sometimes a different question is enough to start a new path on your life.

Is there such as "I don't have time"?
Or is it rather "I have better things to do"?

Valuable things take time and/or effort.

Uhhh, interesting sentence. π
Different perspective:
What is truth? Is there an objective truth all the time? Is the truth the most important? Or maybe intent or meaning is more important? Can anything be more important then truth?
Enjoy the nice weather and the food π
Different perspective:
Comparing yourself to others is unfair.
You don't know the circumstance differences, therefore the result might seem disappointing but lack the real reason.
Maybe a different way could be, that find people who have or reached what you want, and learn how they did it. Then compare your path to gain or reach what you want.
Maybe comparing ways to reach something is more helpful than comparing the reached goals.
Explanation is a form of self-reflection.
Today's thought:
Enable instead of force.
In my humble opinion,
if you enable the other in any relationship, instead of creating a force to sustain/keep the relationship, it will be more fruitful.
Why?
If you enable the other, they can leave you, but if they stay, it will mean a deeper level of connection/cooperation. Also this will make you work harder, and will increase the likeliness that you will get such an elevation either.

History rhymes.
In life, the first person who will get in your way, is...

Perspective helps you to understand people more.
Understanding people more, helps you to communicate with them better, and know what you can expect from them.

Well done! Spend your energies on people who deserve it. π
Hating requires negative feelings. You have to feel bad to hate someone.
How about just not friending them, and spending time with people you like, and ignore the rest?

In my opinion, our current knowledge could seem as our limit.
If you have never installed a lamp, then installing a lamp is out of reach.
The same goes with anything else.
So at the end, it can feel like our capacity is limited, thinking only about our current skills, capabilities.
But... if we learn, we expand our knowledge, skills and capabilities, therefore we expend our "reach". We will have more options.
Thinking on this line can mean, that our current knowledge defines our current options, but by learning new things, or trying new things out, we expand our options.
Also taking options increases our experiences, that will give us more options. It's a self-reinforcing cycle.
So for me, growth mindset means, that we know by doing, we will be able to do more.
Means that our current options are just the byproduct of our current skills, capabilities, and learning, experiencing will expand this "circle".
Sorry for writing in "gibberish", I still need to learn to express my thoughts better, and there is no better way, then doing. Feedback is welcomed!

Growth mindset vs fixed mindset
Fixed mindset is the belief that we can't improve, we have a dealt hand, and that is our limit, we cannot achieve more.
Growth mindset, on the other hand, believes that our skills, talents are honeable, are trainable, and we can improve ourselves a lot. We don't have a fixed capacity. It is up to us, how much we tap into our potential.
I believe in the latter, how about you?
