The first and only flu shot I got was 12 years ago and they later said it was only 15% effective. That’s the first reason why I never got another.
I’m going to get that one. What’s your favourite book in that photo?
It’s amazing how far it’s come in a relatively short time, even though most days I feel like this guy
No. I just stick on top to trap the moisture in and because it’s delicious 🤤
In the mountains 🏔️, grilling some nostr:npub1e860dprl9jx8d9jwx73vymed8g2nl82wwgc72uzu39ftvdzu9y4qu2dhu9 T-bone steaks for dinner. Life is good, God is great.
Great time on the slopes with the kids yesterday. Pretty cold, but lots of fun.

I’m heading to the mountains Monday and it’ll be my first time on the slopes there in 10 years. First time ever for my kids!

2. No
3. Yes!
I don’t listen to much MacArthur anymore but GTY was a huge part of my life as a new Christian about 10-12 years ago. I actually think his series from the late 80s on Phillipians 3 is what helped me truly understand the Gospel.
For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised;
he is to be feared above all gods.
For all the gods of the peoples are worthless idols,
but the LORD made the heavens.
Splendor and majesty are before
him;
strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.
— Psalm 96:4-6
I’m so glad people like you are coming on board. The next decade is going to be amazing.
I had time with my little son this morning while wife was out.
Decided to walk the dogs, with my son on his trike. Usually I’d listen to my endless queue of bitcoin podcasts on nostr:npub1v5ufyh4lkeslgxxcclg8f0hzazhaw7rsrhvfquxzm2fk64c72hps45n0v5.
But the weather was so great, I soon stopped to just listen, breathe and look around while passing by a little rice paddy nearby.
I realized that this kind of time is so precious. I started thanking God for everything and just dwelling on His magnificence. The thought process led me to His character and the Fruits of the Spirit. And how far my heart and state of spirit has been from all the qualities. I can recite them, but I don’t exhibit them.
I’ve been so busy that I’ve lost the peace I used to have. With it the gentleness and thoughtfulness and even self control.
I knew I needed to change my behaviors recently for this year. But this reminded me that you can’t just grow fruit with your will. Your tree needs to change and needs to be re-rooted. My roots weren’t where they used to be as I’d been caught up in fiat style stressing and rushing.
Time with #God is essential. #Jesus came to show us how we can be when we live in step with His #Spirit He puts inside of us.
We need to practice His Presence and know Him more.
His peace allows you to be thoughtfully responsive rather than reactive to things and people in life. I’ve definitely been missing that.
It’s really easy to slip back into bad, though natural, behaviors.
What a great morning!

An electrician on a construction that I’d never met before and have never seen again. It was so random but providential because of the times. My friend nostr:npub15v0ydct2vm993kqs74j7gfgc72jkdjukrs7pa5k3rj65yh5l29aq7fh9n6 was the first one to explain Bitcoin to me, 6 months earlier, but I remained a skeptic. Everyone buys at the price they deserve 😉
I listened to almost 23.5k minutes of Petra in 2024 and kinda disappointed I only got into Apple’s top 100. Hoping for better this year.

I was thinking today about how a random stranger in Nov. 2020 told me “everyone should own 1/3 of a #bitcoin “ and I thought it was crazy to put $6000 into something with “no intrinsic value”, then 6 weeks later I was fully down the rabbit hole.
It’s been a wild ride.
