Finally built a #routersled for the shop. Now I can flatten boards up to 89"x46" adding new #capital to the #workshop is one of my favorite things. I designed all of the plates in Autocad and routed them at work out of paper phenolic. (Yes I can make, sell and ship sets preferably for #bitcoin) build was way cheaper than I've found people selling sets online. Hopefully I can earn a few extra #sats using it. #woodworking #makestr #craftsman #maker #design #engineering.

Yeah it's fun. Basically industrial arts and crafts that they pay me for. My only real complaint is that plastics smell like cancer when you're working them. I prefer woodworking for that reason.

I'd rather not dox myself on the where but we are plastic fabricators, we specialize in point of sale advertising and product display solutions but we also make a lot of mechanical parts for conveyor systems and machinery.

Fun one at the day job. Pulled on the vacuum former out of styrene, trimmed and joined at the seams to make a hanging star. They will go out for bondo and paint before heading to the final customer who will hang them from the ceiling as part of a display.

Working on a large #charcuterie board for a friends upcoming family gathering. Putting it on the laser tomorrow to put a name on it, then fill with epoxy, sand to 400, oil and wax. Finished picture should be up in about a week.

New #capital added to the shop. 4x8 folding #fabrication table. Legs fold in and it will store up on the wall. Only 24 screws in the whole thing. Everything else was done with biscuits or dowels. Its surprisingly stable for a folding table. #maker #craftsman #woodworking #nostr #project
