It's interesting. Money is becoming less and less important in politics, at least to get elected, largely because the money goes toward TV ads and volunteers on the ground visiting houses. Kamala had tons of that, and it didn't make much of a difference.

What is now moving the needle is personality, conversations, ability to get attention. We're moving from a gate-kept world where access was everything, to a world where people can more directly judge through long-form podcasts and such. It's no longer about establishment stooges, but about people that have ideas, the ability to verbalize them and show that they can do those things.

In the coming years, we'll see a lot of people that get to political positions that previously would have been kept out. And it'll be platforms like this which will enable them.

I made a bunch of small wooden items that my wife stocked in her gift store for Christmas 23. There was a bit of a learning curve with developing the graphics and text for the items as well as the speed and power of the laser. it's been a minute but if memory serves you should be going under "wallet" then it should give you option to "use primal wallet" then it should ask to "activate wallet" at which point it will want a name and email, you will get emailed a verification link. verify and you should be all set. They generate the public key as human readable and after its all set you should be able to look under your profile settings page and see it listed in the lighting address spot. If not take the address they gave you and enter that in. Let me know if that works!!

I am using primal. Sorry to say that it is not obvious to me how to set up the wallet. I can see the wallet, I can see the option to buy BTC from within the wallet but that is about it. Do I have to buy bitcoin to enable the wallet to receive zaps? I don’t see a user manual for the app anywhere otherwise I would RTFM 🤣
