Interesting! I was reading about the “mole people” living in the Parisian catacombs just the other day. Nothing to do with political activism, though
You visited Poland just after decades of communist rule. It must have felt different indeed!
To kickstart your Friday, here’s a photo of Kraków’s main square, Rynek Główny, which translates to "Main Market Square" in English. It is one of the largest medieval town squares in Europe and is located in the center of city’s Old Town. It dates back to the 13th century and is surrounded by historic buildings, cafes, and restaurants. Photo from last summer. GM & PV! ☀️☕️

Everything’s good! Very busy, though. Hope all is well in your neck of the woods
I was in the UK last weekend and it was raining. Shame! Nothing better than a sunny day in good old Albion. Morning!
No worries! Glad you find it interesting
The dating of the sites is not precise. They are believed to span a wide range of time, with some estimates suggesting that the oldest human presence in the region dates back to around 30,000 years ago. That’s controversial, though, as some researchers argue that humans only arrived in the Americas 15,000 years ago. It’s a fascinating subject
Yep, it’s a hotpot of 3 distinct civilisations: European, Indigenous and African
No worries! I was born in Brazil and studied about this place. Fascinating anyway
That’s not in the Amazon. It’s the Serra da Capivara National Park, in the state of Piauí, in the northeastern region. It’s a semi-arid area, no rainforest in sight. Incredible place—with lots of prehistoric sites
To start your Thursday, here's a photo I snapped inside the Forbidden City the last time I was in Beijing, mainland China. The place is vast and labyrinthine—walls and gates within more walls and gates. GM & PV! ☀️
