Sometimes, I imagine a world where energy costs tend towards zero, becoming cheaper year after year, and as Saylor says, Bitcoin is energy.

Perhaps in the end, Bitcoin becomes the main player in that sustainable transition 🤔

♠️Poker is an underrated game♠️

The skills developed related to game theory while playing it can be transferred to other aspects of our lives, such as investing, entrepreneurship, mindset and time managment.

Taking a poker approach has helped me a lot in my decision-making.

I think that biggest threat with CBDC is that government would have tool to disable currency exchange with one click.

I see two possible scenarios of this:

1. New way of sanctions.

Uncle Joe has a problem with some country.

Click, enemy country currency is no longer exchangeable to USD both ways.

No more oil for you.

2. You government overleveraged debt and now your country currency is sinking into hyperinflation death spiral.

Click, you cannot exchange your country's fiat shitcoin into anything else and all you can do is watching your lifetime savings evaporate.

Bitcoin fixes this.

My fellow Nostriches,

I was invited to speak at the Baltic Honeybadger conference in Latvia September 2 - 3, 2023. Plane tickets alone are about 1600 USD. I do not have those kinds of funds in my budget to go as I've already allocated funds for other events later this year. However, I feel that it would be an amazing opportunity for me to attend and speak about Nostr, speak about all of the great things that we've built, and accomplished together. You all know how bullish and passionate I am about Nostr. Anyways, I wanted to try something different and see if it's successful. I would like to crowdfund my travel expenses with Zaps. If the community wants me to attend and talk about Nostr, then Zaps will lead the way. I love you all and thank you for your support.
