La acha (h is silent) sounds weird.
But also letās take a moment to appreciate that a masculine axe would be equally weird!
My favorite page on the StLouisFed .org (FRED) site:
"Buying eggs with bitcoins."
OVER THE PAST FIVE YEARS...
From October 2019 through October 2024, the price of a dozen eggs:
- In US dollars: Increased ā¬ļø +163%, from $1.28 to $3.37.

- In #bitcoin: Decreased ā¬ļø -67%, from 15,286 sats to 5,117 sats.

CONCLUSION: Life gets constantly more expensive the longer you save in dollars (or any government fiat currency), while it generally gets (much) cheaper the longer you save in #bitcoin.
Inflationary fiat currency versus neutral inelastic energy money...
The choice is yours.

āI donāt want to invest in Bitcoin because it is too volatileā ā normies
To be honest, I like it. Not for the environment or anything, but because of the countless times I accidentally dropped a cap when trying to put it back on or remove it. No more accidents!
Could there be a better way to design this? Probably. But if people are that dumb and donāt rotate the bottle sideways to drink from it then they have bigger problem than a cap in their nose. š
Better late than never!
*cries in Canadian*
So true, for Bitcoin too. Making the first $10 investment in Bitcoin is easy, but going all in is the hardest step!
Thereās so much pesticide/hormones/etc in milk already, one more wonāt make a difference.
So, thereās no difference except that the second plane is more colourful? š§
Yeah, but thereās not really a verification method for Nostr, unless you use a custom domain or post your npub somewhere else.

Thatās what I say to people who donāt want to invest in bitcoin because they say it will go to $0.
- what if you are right and you lose your 3-5% invested in bitcoin when it goes to 0$? Is that life changing?
- what if you are wrong and miss out on a lifetime of financial freedom?
In Canada we are all supposed to get $250 to help alleviate inflation concerns!
I canāt wait to get my stimmies to buy myself some bitties!

Itās perhaps a misguided tweet, but isnāt one single person (or one country for that matter) owning that many bitcoin problematic?
Even my reply is not even using the font size I asked for when posted. Only the message I responded to is, and thatās literally just 1 word. Rest is a mix of sizes.
Itās a start, but even primalās implementation of font sizes needs improving.
I use the largest font setting on Primal and thereās still so many elements that use a tiny font.
The reply Iām writing right now is in font size 6 probably, about 40% of the size of text in notes. Some elements on this screen are even smaller.

2040: BTC crashes to $10,000,000
I keep an eye on such an ETF (I donāt own any, just track prices). When Bitcoin was at its lowest the ETF was about $22 per share. And now it hovers around $2. Ouch.
Ultimately that ETF will do well once Bitcoin reaches its peak and goes back down for this cycle, but we have a long way to go.
