Caught the biggest fish of my life today. 25# flathead and buddy got a 21#er.
Released the two fat daddies but ended up with a few good ones to take home for the freezer. #fish #fishing #grownostr

Chicken tractor update 3.
No progress last night. Stayed up too late the night before.
I am now considered a home vermicomposter. I’ve not heard about this but will do some research.
Chicken tractor build update #2.
I was able to get the roof framing up with a little help from the sometimes helpful kiddies. (They don’t realize how helpful they actually were) I had let’s of salvaged scrap wood so used some for the strapping for the sheet metal and hardware cloth. Added the plywood back with a fold down nest box access. Added bracing to the base and the roof frames. Added a base for the nest boxes (more up-cycled wood). I stayed up way too late pushing this build but I’m happy with the progress. Stay tuned for more updates to follow.

Chicken tractor build update #1.
I was able to get the bottom and top frames cut and screwed together. Took me a bit to remember how to work geometry 📐 but the math came to me after screwing up one cut. (Glad I got 1 extra).
This is going to be a 12’x8’ tractor that I can double as a stationary coop. At least that’s what I’m telling myself. Any #chicken experts let me know if I’m wrong plz.

Should the nesting boxes sit higher or lower than their perches? Want to avoid poop eggs.
It works out well for financially smart people. The problem is most people aren’t and fall victim to the quick satisfaction a CC brings.
I used my CC with 0% for 12mo to pay for a $5k truck years ago that no bank would provide lending. I made myself pay off that CC balance (over the monthly minimum) before the rate went back up. Finished the payments with $0 lending fees plus got $500 cash back from card promo. Most would’ve paid the minimum CC payment for the next 10yrs.
