Setting up a Jellyfin server.

If I can get it reverse proxied through a fast VPS with a lot of bandwidth I'm happy to give plebs access for some sats 👀

Just answered my own question - RA is only under the LAN and VLAN settings.

Will see if turning off DHCPv6 on em makes a difference.

Okay I have a /48 IPv6 subnet and a /64 one.

Currently both are being assigned to my default network, and my VLAN is IPv4 only.

How can I make my VLAN assign external IPv6 addresses?

Using Ubiquiti Dream Router for the gateway and main AP.

I actually think this warning was helpful and polite... I felt like saying "it's the tenth urgent security patch for the spyPhone this year!" but I was very restrained!

Posting this from Satellite.earth to try out a new client.

First draft of this is up already!

For if you use Pi Hole or similar, but lists keep blocking Bitcoin stuff. This is a whitelist for Bitcoin wallets, nodes, Lightning bootstraps, Nostr relays, and stuff we tend to use (Graphene, VPNs, F-Droid, etc.) set to a priority above the blacklists.

Just paste the URL in the readme to your whitelist settings and done.

PRs certainly welcome, I'm sure there's plenty I've missed here.

Finally got proper control over my network tho I do love this thing.

Just made an isolated VLAN without multicast for my guest WiFi.

Ubiquiti console security module definitely tries to block Tor by default even when you specifically disable Tor in "detection types" - only way around this in the end was to put my node's LAN IP in the "security detection allow list" on the security page, then it instantly started working right after.

I hope this doesn't mean it's excluded from the network firewall though. Doesn't seem like it should be from what I can see, but then from what I can see it shouldn't be blocking Tor traffic either...

GrapheneOS is literally so secure it gets security patches before Google releases them

My ISP has long offered IPv6 support but my old router didn't.

After literally one minute of config without even turning it off and on again, my Ubiquiti Dream has no problem.

Added to the whitelist. Will publish the whole thing by this weekend so you can add it to whitelists.

Will also include common Nostr domains for clients, media hosts, relays etc too based on your feedback.
