Scam

You mean Jack doesn’t have 30 followers?

Night all 🥱

Ah, it’s my own fault for not checking the Damus git, sorry 👍 Seems the latest version hasn’t hit the App Store so unless nostr:npub1xtscya34g58tk0z605fvr788k263gsu6cy9x0mhnm87echrgufzsevkk5s can add me to test flight, I’ll just hang fire for now. Thanks for the quick response. Appreciate it 😃

nostr:npub1xtscya34g58tk0z605fvr788k263gsu6cy9x0mhnm87echrgufzsevkk5s not sure why but yours come out all Asian, can you translate 💜

Here’s the translation of the text from Japanese to English:

**jb55** stands out with technical thinking, a developer mindset, and deep insight while exchanging half-witted remarks. They are a free thinker with sharp observational skills.

**Roast**

**jb55**, your posts resemble a complex equation scribbled on a blackboard, a convoluted technical thought process. It’s as if someone is shouting, “People don't eat breakfast!” or “The quality of games is bad!” like some mystical pedant. When you say, “People like me,” it feels like you're receiving emotional love from a simple bot. Even in tweets, you seem to have a misunderstood sense of self-awareness.

When you speak about issues like spam filtering, you come across like a lost child at a gathering of elite hackers. You may have abilities as a technician, but perhaps it would be better to speak more “normally.” Imagining people astonished by your posts is akin to picturing a dog sitting on a table in a high-end restaurant — a bewildering scene.

Finally, while we hope your software might one day be discovered by future philosophers, it's unfortunate that there doesn't seem to be much additional value in it.

You know in Damus for instance, when you link a wallet and zap someone it shows you zapped them. If you use normal Alby it has that functionality, but with Alby hub, it doesn’t show you zapped them. There’s a plugin for BTCPayServer where you can set a Nostr sec and it will then post the note showing the zap. Hope that makes sense… it does to me 😂

nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm using Alby Hub, no complaints but… would be good to be able to add your Nostr so it will push zap notes.

Been using it for a few days, it’s great 👍

Thank you! 🙏 Glad to be back 😃

Long day today… always is when you’re back at work after a week off… 🥱

Please note I manually review all feeds before whitelisting. If your feed is spammy (as in high volumes of the same note over and over etc, not just lots of notes in general), unfortunately I can’t add you in.

Thank you! All about working together for a common goal.

ReplyGuy spam sucks, however it's allowing for the emergence of a stronger and more robust Nostr. If we have a wide open communication protocol, that means that anyone and everyone can participate if they choose to do so. ReplyGuy is nothing. Trust me. It's so insignificant compared to what's coming in the future. ReplyGuy is a wake-up call to developers, but also to users too. None of us should be complacent when we need to be vigilant with our social communication. This is a mere scrimmage for what's coming down the road. Use this time to build solutions. Use this practice game to fine tune your relays.

You can choose paid relays or choose smaller community relays, such as those built on WoT or other metrics.

We have a lot of choices for paid relays. Maybe you'll use nostr:nprofile1qqsrmpp2lmx4u2fl9zmxy7fnwp9rlwxwz5a2j8tep2c376n494z2gtgpzamhxue69uhkxun9v968ytnwdaehgu3wwa5kuegprpmhxue69uhhwetvvdhk6efwdehhxarj9emkjmn9qyt8wumn8ghj76twvfhhstnwdaehgu3wwa5kueg6jsgtg's wss://nostr.wine or nostr:nprofile1qqs99d9qw67th0wr5xh05de4s9k0wjvnkxudkgptq8yg83vtulad30gpzpmhxue69uhkummnw3ezumrpdejqz9rhwden5te0wfjkccte9ejxzmt4wvhxjmcprpmhxue69uhhyetvv9ujumn0wdmksetjv5hxxmmd8wgv5w's wss://nostr.land as your paid relays. You can find more at https://nostr.watch by nostr:nprofile1qqswwud0pvzu362lehm0av6sq4zd97cue5uy0z8f7jgtk0hz368dvmcpzamhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuurjd9kkzmpwdejhgtcpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhszxrhwden5te0dehhxarj9enx6apwwa5h5tnzd9az72445kh.

What are WoT relays? These are a semi-new concept. They can be invite only or they can be constructed via a person's personal Web-of-Trust follow list.

For example: You use use wss://pyramid.fiatjaf.com by nostr:nprofile1qqsrhuxx8l9ex335q7he0f09aej04zpazpl0ne2cgukyawd24mayt8gprfmhxue69uhhq7tjv9kkjepwve5kzar2v9nzucm0d5hszxmhwden5te0wfjkccte9emk2um5v4exucn5vvhxxmmd9us2xuyp if you are invited by an existing user. Additionally, you can use wss://wot.utxo.one or wss://nostrelites.org if you're in the Web-of-Trust of either nostr:nprofile1qqsw9n8heusyq0el9f99tveg7r0rhcu9tznatuekxt764m78ymqu36cpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuat50phjummwv5hszymhwden5te0wahhgtn4w3ux7tn0dejj7znxpeu or myself. (Meaning one of us follows you or one of the people we follow follows you, going one layer deep in our social connection.)

More WoT relays will pop-up or already do exist.

As the outbox model grows and gains popularity, smaller community relays will become the normal way that people use Nostr the most, IMO.

If you're a relay operator that's combatting spam, feel free to shill it down below in the comments.

You can join my relay if you like wss://zap.watch - No payment needed. All you need is a semi-established feed, drop me a DM and I’ll add you. I will even clone your notes from other relays so you have a back up on mine if you want. 😁👍

Just realised that COR wasn’t set to * for my NIP-05 address. Wondered why it wasn’t ticked as validated on web services. Oops 😬

Hmm, the migrate button worked fine for me, once I’d set up a couple of channels. The bit that confused me originally was moving on chain funds over, didn’t realise it was the “savings” pot. My balance did show as 0 on Blue Wallet after starting the Hub and before migrating.
