Looks like Primal users on iOS will not get KYC-free zaps, unfortunately.

Modern equivalents of the Berlin Wall are made out of taxes and federal agents instead of concrete.

Would miners in the US and in US allied countries steal from a privacy-focused drive chain in order to enforce compliance with anti-privacy laws?

To be fair, it’s the training of the AI that takes all this energy. The human equivalent would be all the energy consumed over the decades of learning up to productive adult life. The AI is probably still much less efficient, but this should improve massively with more optimized hardware.

If you exit the US with a stack of Bitcoin and don’t want the IRS to reach out and Ver you for failing to pay the exit theft, pick a red place.

The US government declaring war on open source software has no good outcome for the government. Either the software continues to proliferate or the US government has to eventually admit that the 1A doesn’t protect code if that code “threatens national security.”

Agreed. Implement Confidential Transactions. The suits, ETFs and regulated exchanges will probably dump the Bitcoin price to sub $10k, but it’s a good thing in the long run.

Won’t be soon if it’s that way. A lot of resistance to BIP300/301.

Narrator: Paying chain anal did not save them.

If Bitcoin was able to integrate privacy tech that didn’t have huge costs in terms of running a node but it scared away the suits, ETFs and regulated exchanges, causing the Bitcoin price to drop below $10k, I’d be all for it.
