If there’s room on it, I guess nostr:npub1ej493cmun8y9h3082spg5uvt63jgtewneve526g7e2urca2afrxqm3ndrm should get promoted to the “we are all Satoshi” meme with “not you” over Craig Wright.

Musk and X ended up bending the knee on censorship in Brazil, also giving them their requested $5 million. Probably partially explains the dropping count of active users here on Nostr.

Developments like this may be happening kind of slowly at this time. Just wait until simple metal tubes are regulated…

Looks like the Supreme Court is about to agree with the Biden Administration that gun parts, even unfinished, are equivalent to actual guns legally. 3D printing may eventually be the only way to get these parts. https://www.npr.org/2024/10/08/nx-s1-5145914/supreme-court-ghost-guns

I believe they’re called regarded and special on the platforms that censor some words.

I wouldn’t say that. Sure, any of the coinjoin coordinators could be compromised by specific parties, but chances are you’ll have better privacy than just leaving everything easy to trace by anyone.

Will this stop the US government from demanding back doors? Of course not. “Just make better back doors!”

Everyone’s focusing on the negatives. A pretty cool use I can see for tech like this is superhuman awareness (eyes on the back of your head). The device could have additional cameras to provide 360 view. AI would constantly scan people nearby for suspicious behavior towards you, picking up things like gaze and mannerisms, objects being held, etc. Wearer gets Spider-Sense!

Will be nice and quiet until the next X or TikTok FUD episode I guess.
