I have never used Epsom salt before, and I was unaware of its beneficial effects on inflammation 🤔 interesting stuff. It seems that its healing properties can be attributed to its high magnesium content. Personally, I believe I already consume an adequate amount of Mg. However, I must admit that I often neglect the importance of stretching. I am well aware of how crucial it is, but unfortunately, I tend to fall short when it comes to giving it the attention it deserves.

Bit I mean epsom in bath, soaking the joint, it is absorbed through the skin. I have not tried imgesting, some do, but normal prescription is a bath or soaking the body part you have affected. 💕

Thanks, Priscilla! 🫂 I'm aware that my knee has been giving me trouble lately due to my decreased activity levels. It's funny how our brain still tricks us into thinking we can handle activities like we used to. But I've learned my lesson. I need to take it slow and gradually increase my activity level instead of going all out as if there's no tomorrow. And you're absolutely right, we're not getting any younger, so taking care of ourselves is crucial. Thanks for the reminder! And let's face it, the unfortunate reality is that we're not getting any younger, so taking good care of our joints is crucial.

I agree, I newd to step up in activity. I had some mishaps and stopped walking asuch. It makes a difference. Stretching in the morning is helpimg me too. And you should get some epsom salts,you can soak the joint and it is absorbed through the skin, helps with inflammation

This might be one of the best explanatory videos about ITB (Iliotibial Band) friction syndrome, a common knee injury in athletes that is on the outer facing side of the knees. It's caused by tension in the muscles connected to the ITB, leading to a rubbing effect on the knee. Treatment includes reducing training load, anti-inflammatory meds, and correcting predisposing factors.

I'm posting this mainly because tomorrow I'll forget how is it called :) . Today when i was hiking downhill the pain started again and at least I know now what's causing it.
