Nostr having a vibrant ecosystem of different clients won’t just make all of them better via competition, it also allows us to choose the client that is the best fit for us personally. Unless Twitter re-enables APIs, they simply can't compete in this way.
I think a single color would be just fine for seeds, but this could theoretically make the PSBT transmission process significantly more efficient.

Not sure who needs to hear this but... you don't have to enter into a trust relationship with a company to have secure bitcoin cold storage. All of the tools you need to independently & conveniently create & manage offline keys to secure your stack are out there, and they are accessible to people of modest technical ability. This hasn't always been the case, but I'm extremely thankful that we've arrived at a place where its possible.
Solid perspectives here. Bluetooth and NFC are great for some applications, but IMHO storing generational wealth is not one of them.

In my understanding, this delegated signing approach is viable technically, but there were questions as to whether the model would end up putting too much strain on individual relays if more users adopted this method of authentication. Have to defer to npub1tv8gmfhalwnxxquxjzeh6gtdsdz6vg7vx0s3rt7s7uuw6aujh32qn77wn2 and others who have deeper technical knowledge on this.
One thing that I see people sleeping on with nostr:npub17tyke9lkgxd98ruyeul6wt3pj3s9uxzgp9hxu5tsenjmweue6sqq4y3mgl vs other signing devices is that you could actually use a seedsigner for an entire house hold since as long as you unplug the power supply it doesn't actually store your keys on the device like other signing devices. (Cold card has all these ways to fool thieves ect. But nothing beats the keys literally not being stored on the device....right?)
I'm not suggesting you share your seedsigner with people you don't know but it is awesome that you can just own one seed signer that can safely sign transactions for a group of people instead of just 1. For low income areas of the world this could be huge. Also, it can be used with multiple open source wallet softwares instead of you being funneled into using some closed source sketchy software with a profit motive.

This is indeed a benefit of SeedSigner in that you can use it to manage a virtually unlimited number of keys. I would never let a stranger borrow my signer, but I think the idea of sharing one with trusted friends and relatives is 100% reasonable. Even better if everyone has their own memory card to use with the signer w/ a copy of the software they’ve downloaded and installed themselves, and of course remember to pull the mem card after the main menu appears. I am thinking about to give an eduacational article/lecture at my job. We are about 1000 employees!
It will be about non custodial hardware wallet solutions & storage, seed creation, privacy etc.

Love that you though of our project for this. The biggest challenge may be sharing the experience of using the signer with that many people, it it's definitely doable. Depending on how technical you are, it's possible to obtain clean, pixel-for-pixel screen captures from a running SeedSigner using development tools.
