For many years I wore poverty as a badge of honor and a large portion of the Canadian identity centers on not being selfish but if it helps and if you feel like your place on this earth is to help people the way to help the most people the quickest is by building your wealth. The sooner a person realizes they are worth than they believe the sooner that person starts becoming the person they were born to be. It didn’t happen over night for me but it happens with time.
