When I was in middle school I remember irritating my dad because I formatted the drives on my PC and installed Ubuntu on it. Somehow my retarded fifth grader ass was able to fix a driver issue with the wi-fi card and actually get the machine online again. Darting between my dad's workstation with the troubleshooting threads open on it and then back to my offline machine desperately hoping this next command line entry would fix my problem. Good times.

I think this idea might just be making the horrors we witnessed on the Internet even more traumatizing.

Honestly I have been toying with the idea of training them on locally networked old school machines. So they can get the knowledge without the viral poz load.
