Get used to the thought that the next generation(s) will see us as idiots. Uneducated idiots who spend most of their time glued to their touch screens, consuming the dopamine generated by the algorithms of the apps.
Just like how we see the smokers from the 60s, 70s, portrayed in TV series where they're constantly smoking. No matter where, in the office, in the elevator, on the plane... and we laugh about how idiotic those times were.
The same way, the next generations will think about us. How we hang in front of our mini screens like stupid dopamine junkies. While today, we feel as cool as the Marlboro Man back then.
How will they communicate without smartphones, you ask? No idea, maybe a small watch or a wristband with a phone and voice interface. Or if Elon manages it with a few diodes on the temples, which the subsequent generations will then make fun of.

And these 'objections' were really compelling. For instance, I received some zaps, one with the note "keep the marketplace open plz". All anonymous. I mean, what am I supposed to do here? Well, I still find history interesting because of what you can learn about human nature or better human nafs. Those little 'kings' they had in the past ... now we're all kind of 'kings' in terms of having similar possibilities and luxuries. So it shows we're just repeating history but on a micro scale.

It's a completely foolish practice to prohibit someone access to something just because they're using a VPN or the ad/tracker blockers in it. Do they think people use VPNs in vain and now they're going to turn it off because of it? There are alternatives. Idiots.

I think some still do not get the seriousness and urgency of the situation.

- "Everything apps" are being developed and connected to everything, while their CEOs deceive us with the tale of 'free speech'.
- And at the same time, we are increasingly witnessing the establishment blatantly lying to our faces or committing atrocities without being held accountable. It's like the feudal arbitrariness of the Dark Ages.
We don't have time to dawdle. We need to become self-sufficient using all means available to us.
Start with Bitcoin. And finally stop with the foolish halal/haram discussions. The fact that there are differences of opinion among the Ulama regarding this already means that it cannot be unequivocally haram.
And perhaps... just perhaps, we might still manage to leave behind all the institutions that are a burden on us, and trade directly with each other, peer-to-peer, using stable money and clean goods.
