Seems #taco trump always chickens out is all the rave now in x

#Albyhub has been the most reliable nwc setup so far. I've tried coinos and primal but kept having issues with payment after some time. But with albyhub it just works all the time. Impressive for a self custodial solution.

Been a while I watched a full podcast episode by Theo von. But this was deep. https://youtu.be/olT2EYqiPPU

Termus is an underrated android terminal. Just installed syncthing through the terminal and voila, can fetch my backed up obsidian docs from my PC to my phone.

The evolution of PewDiePie is so much fun to watch. Currently in his engineering arc

Vibe coding is much more useful for product managerish developers. Those who plan all aspects of their work upfront before writing any line of code. Unfortunately I'm not that kind of developer,

More often than not, what needs to be built isn't really clear and programming by hand is the way to figure out what it should look like.

The time it would take to write out the specification, would have resulted in the actual code completed so that isn't a win by any stretch.

It is useful for short scoped task where the outcome is clear like for example adding a search bar to the top of the page etc or a web worker to move an existing function that already works well.

Anything beyond that is just torture for me.

Same experience recently. Now I just pick up my jotter to write ideas as a way to improve my writing instead of just typing on a PC.

It seems if a skill isn't used, it tends to degrade overtime

Gemini pro is probably the most effective llm because it isn't to eager to do stuff like Claude but it has serious issues with memory with cursor. It just keeps forgetting stuff

These sort of articles don't make any sense because there are websites and there are web apps. The web is the easiest platform to build on and has the largest percentage of devs working with it so obviously there is always going to be extremes. That doesn't mean you can build certain types of web app with just HTML.

The web of today is much more capable of the web 30 years ago. You don't need anyone's permission to build or release stuff.

Building for the web didn't get worse. It provided more options. IMO, it is a lot more fun building for the web than on any other platform regardless of the perceived complexity.

There is an in app browser on #keychat that enabled all these

My current makeshift solution to this is using jumble within #keychat and depending on Google translate.

I don't think the version not from the play store does

Which browser nostr client supports translation #asknostr

New discovery everyday. It is really good.

Can't wait to see more improvement like for example the ability to easily switch between apps that have been added to favorites

Just added chachi.chat and the login through #keychat was 🀩

Okay this is really impressive. Login just works seamlessly

I was on an older version. Just updated using zap store and can see the browser

Is this from the key chat app or what. I've got keychat but it seems to be just a regular messaging app. Not sure how to accomplish what is shown in the video. It's possible I'm using an older version though

Jumble.social is so much better on desktop/large screens compared to mobile.

I think there is more nuance to this. It isn't just a matter of being more individualistic or more collectivistic.

For example, Bitcoin works based off consensus. If the majority of nodes/mine reject a block on which a transactoin is mined on, that transaction would be orphaned. so in a sense, one could argue that this is collectivistic.

At the same time, If one runs a node, they are in charge of whatever settings or configuration they choose. No one can control or set what rules they choose to enable. They just need to ensure that their node is in consensus with the rest of the network.

Bitcoin works because it is decentralized and not dependent on a central planner. This doesn't mean it is inherently individualistic or collectivist.

The sweet spot is getting the ai do boring work why you focus on more critical aspects within the software development process.

AI is terrible at creating code structure so if it is a project that one plans to work on for a long time and could need contributions for others, you want to oversee that things are done correctly.

If you already have the skills, you could instruct the AI to do things correctly, the way you would.

An example I ran into recently was getting the ai to build a computational intensive action which was obviously blocking the UI thread. It wasn't obvious to the AI to move that work to a worker thread but after informing the AI about the issue, it fixed it correctly

Building an mcp server with node js is a bit weird. One needs to ensure that there are no console.log statements in the tool implementation else it just fails when called by clients like cursor or cline
