Thanks, but this is not under the 3 dot menu in this version. Settings is there, but there's no 'Layout' in the settings menu.
Do you have a current version of Element? Mine is 1.5.32 from F-Droid. Settings are only under my profile pic on the left. First item under the three dot menu on the right is Layout settings.
Tap the three points on the upper right corner, and click on layout settings. There you can activate "show filters". That should remove the clutter.
Work's done. Let's go for some #skyrim modding.

That's both true. But Instagram uses hashtag following since ages and it seems to work.
Algorithms on the other hand are client dependent. As Nostre is decentralized and pull-only you will get different feeds on different devices.

Isn't following hashtags enough? Then you can chose to follow #travel, #tech, #crypto, #beauty or whatever.
