Sigh, I should have read the article first. This makes me sad.

Be careful out there Marty, they'll probably target the most prominent people first to send a message. They'll try to divide and conquer; it's usually an effective tactic.
#Bitcoin is for everyone.

I'm always torn about the amount of sats being offered as a bounty. For example, 500k sats sounds like a lot, but it barely puts food on the table ($150).
I guess the assumption is those #sats will be worth 10x more after the next cycle, but that doesn't help developers that need to make ends meet right now.
Pretty sure it will anticipate our crimes. We'll get arrested for crimes that havent even been committed yet.
Absolutely. The profile page is hidden until you sign in and get tracked. No thanks.

I know Elon triggers people (especially with Doge), but if they are able to catch Starship on the way down with that tower, history will be made. Hate on Elon all you want, but no one else is ballsy enough to attempt this!

Good point, your data needs to be archived on devices you control.
Oh, that's what you mean. Most of us don't get sats randomly sent to us. Keep up the good work! I don't think there's an easy way to identify the sender unless the sender includes a note in the transaction.
Try to use cash at least once a week. We need to keep the cash circular economy alive until #bitcoin's privacy tools are ready for the masses. We take it for granted, but I guarantee you'll have an "oh sh!t" moment when cash is completely phased out.

To view zaps historically, you can use the notifications page (click the bell icon). Notice small lightning bolts appear next to the notes that were zapped. You can see the user's icon next to the lightning bolt to see who zapped you.
Nope. The people who lost coins on FTX learned this the hard way. Self-custody is the bare minimum, imo.

I'd like to think a few might get inadvertantly orange pilled. Then, assuming they start stacking, my tax dollars would be indirectly supporting #Bitcoin.

Proton has a free tier if you need an anonymous connection. I eventually switched to a paid tier because I support their privacy mission. They also offer email, calendar, and storage -- all zero knowledge encrypted.
